The Content Sharing Constellation Project is a coordinated network of non-profit agencies that share web-based information and resources related to the community-based employment and training sector, in order to disseminate information as widely as possible. We use online tools to facilitate the sharing of online content across a number of web sites. When community-based training and employment organizations post information to our web site, or to one of our partner's, it is automatically fed to all partner organizations, who decide if they wish to post it, and who have editorial control over how the listing will appear on their web site.
Partner Characteristics
All current constellation partner organizations, and all future partners, are:
- Part of the community-based training, employment or education sector/community
- A non-profit, volunteer or charitable organization or project. (Registered/Incorporated)
- Located in Ontario, or provide services or information in or to Ontario residents
- Willing to follow the roles and responsibilities outlined in the ACTEW Content-Sharing Constellation Membership Guidelines
- Willing to contribute content in accordance with the ACTEW Content-Sharing Constellation Content and Style Guides
- Willing to work collaboratively with members from the Constellation and Content Advisory Groups
Benefits for Your Agency
By sharing content online, the Constellation Project increases not only the amount of information that is shared, but also the number of people who have access to it; more people can access more information about the community based training sector. By becoming a partner of the Content Sharing Constellation Project, and sharing information through an on-line database, organizations will benefit by:
- Distributing a greater amount of high-quality information to their current, and new, users in Ontario's community-based training sector, with only a fraction of the effort
- Expanding the range of information they can provide
- Adding interactive and dynamic functions to their web site with little to no technical expertise or investment
- Reducing duplication
- Customizing all content published on their site to suit their target audience
