On Saturday September 4th Roni Chaleff passed away from ovarian cancer. A private funeral was held for family only, yesterday. A memorial in celebration of her life was also held yesterday for friends and family. For twelve years Roni had worked to help and counsel hundreds of women at Times Change. Her dedication and care was evident in the number of women that remembered her years after Roni had helped them. She was a kind and empathetic and endearing individual who made it her life’s mission to help others.

The Staff and Board of Times Change wish to acknowledge the sadness of this loss to our agency, and to our community. She was not just our co-worker; she was our friend and our sister. Her energy, directness, and care will be missed.

The staff at Times Change will be putting together a memoriam board for Roni, to acknowledge her life, and the impact she had on others. We are also planning to dedicate a tribute event to her. We will keep you updated about the plans for the event as they unfold.
