Toronto Catholic District School Board Continuing Education Department, Adult Education Program is seeking experienced curriculum writers for the development of LINC resources to accompany LINC 5-7 Curriculum Guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Team on the development of a work plan and LINC 5 -7 resources conceptual design and format
- Research and Develop LINC 5 – 7 curriculum resources according to project work plan, time-lines, agreed-upon format/design
- Incorporate ongoing feedback from the Advisory Committee into project products
- Incorporate feedback from field-test results into project products
- Promote and in-service project products according to project work plan
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in curriculum development or related an asset
- Demonstrated experience in developing curriculum resources, training modules, toolkits, and guides and in delivering training
- Demonstrated understanding of different research methodologies
- Excellent administrative, time management, writing, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated understanding of Web 2.0 applications an asset
Job term: Summer 2008 – March 30, 2009
30 hours per week at hourly rate of $44.58
3 sick days for the duration of the contract
