ACTEW: A Commitment to Training and Employment for Women is seeking to hire 3 Regional Trainers throughout Ontario to deliver workshops on technology collaboration, online marketing information sharing and partnership development using ACTEW’s Best Practices from the Content – Sharing Constellation Project.
About the Content-Sharing Constellation Project
The Content-Sharing Constellation is an Ontario-based network (or constellation) of non-profit agencies engaged in sharing web-based information and resources related to the community-based employment and training (CBT) sector. The Constellation uses interactive self-publishing tools that share online content across a number of web sites. A community-driven approach is used to develop online content from a variety of community stakeholders across Ontario. The constellation includes ten partner agencies and is in its seventh year. The process of establishing the constellation to the point that it is today has enriched ACTEW and the partnership network with many lessons to share.
With funding from the Trillium Foundation, ACTEW will conduct workshops in various locations across Ontario. ACTEW will work with regional trainers as well as project partners to deliver workshops to over 400 trainees on topics that include online marketing, information collection/dissemination, partnership development and interagency collaborative technology development. The project’s primary objective is to demonstrate how to create, develop and sustain technology partnerships based on the lessons learned over the years from the constellation project.
