ACTEW Membership Meeting

Date: December 11, 2006
Time: 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Location: Centre for Social Innovation  215 Spadina Ave., Suite 100 Toronto

Join ACTEW for apple cider, networking and a special presentation by Pam Lahey,"Why employment policies miss their mark: What women need to know about creaming and the Targeted Wage Subsidy." Pam Lahey will be presenting on her Evidence and Implications of Creaming in the Targeted Wage Subsidy Program, in which she interviewed agencies, government representatives and employers to identify the conditions that may lead to choosing more work-ready clients over multi-barriered clients in the Targeted Wage Subsidy Program. Join us to hear the research findings and recommendations, then join the group discussion to explore alternative models that serve clients more fully.

Please RSVP your attendance to Carol van den Kerkhof at carol@actew.org or (416) 599-3590.
